The drop off zone at Ebbsfleet station is located opposite the bicycle parking and the bus shelter. You can drop of passengers for a maximum time of 20 minutes and there are signs clearly stating this information, it is situated relatively near to the station around a 2 minute walk. ChargesIt does not cost to drop of someone only if you are no longer than 20 minutes, although if you are longer than 20 minutes you are liable to a parking charge contravention notice. The parking charge for longer than 20 minutes is £50, however if you pay this within 14 days it will be reduced to a price of £25. Removal of vehicleIf you park for a period of over 20 minutes you will either be charged or you could have your vehicle removed for overstay. The charge for this is a sum of £250 plus £20 per day storage charges for each 24 hour period that your car is there. To avoid these penalty charges, if you plan to stay for longer than 20 minutes then please use one of the available car parks. |
